I'm every woman
I am not quite sure when it happened. Perhaps it began shortly after the birth of my son Jah and maybe I was just still too high on all the "good stuff" they were so gracious to hit me off with in the hospital postpartum to notice. Perhaps it was before that, when we finally settled upon a name for the little "space invader" doing Pilates in my womb. Or maybe, if I dare wax poetic for a moment, it has just always been and is now as it should be. I guess that when it began to stick is of little consequence, because the reality is that, bar none, my most popular moniker among the people these days is that of " Jah's Mom". (By "people" I at least mean the nurses at the doctor's offices, swim instructors, tap instructors, overzealous "Bruce Leroy" like karate instructors (sorry, Sensei ) and anyone under the age of ten.) But, what of " KC ?" That sometimes sassy, somewhat classy, fried fish lovin ' , sushi savoring ...
